One of the unsung heroes in church ministry is your church’s historical data, from donation and attendance records to families and addresses.
Stacks on stacks of these records (preferably digital—so much easier to sort through!) tell the story of your church: the people you’ve ministered to along the way, those who have supported your ministry with their time and finances, and the major decisions that have brought you to today.
All of that data is incredibly important to your ministry, and you shouldn’t have to leave it behind to start using a new technology.
Here at Faithlife, we want it to be unbelievably easy to bring your church’s history with you when you upgrade your tech, so you can spend your time focusing on your people and community instead of getting lost in spreadsheets. You’re not on your own—our team is here to help, offering personalized success and support. (If you don’t see your question answered below, you can schedule a demo with our team to learn more.)
To give you an idea of how everything works when you transition to Faithlife Equip (our all-in-one integrated ministry platform that includes a church management solution) or Faithlife Giving, here’s a quick Q&A with Anh Johnson (pictured above), one of our customer success managers.
Q: Anh, what brought you to Faithlife?
I was gifted Logos during my first year of vocational ministry. The software changed the way that I studied the Bible and prepared for sermons after I graduated from Northwest University.
I always admired Faithlife from afar, and I was given a chance to tour the company when I moved to Bellingham. I had no idea that the tour would turn into a career here.
I’ve always been passionate about the Word of God and the mission of the Church, so Faithlife combines my two passions into one mission.
Q: Why is it so important to you that churches transition well to the Faithlife platform?
I have worked on the church side of tech, too, so I know that big transitions like these can make anyone feel stressed or insecure. I want to help churches transition well to the Faithlife platform because I understand how it feels to make tech transitions on the other side of the screen.
Plus, as a Customer Success Manager, a church’s success is my success. Their wins are my wins.
Q: Say I’m not super tech-savvy. How could you help me get my records moved to Faithlife?
Our team offers a variety of ways to help all different types of learners. We have live weekly webinars on church management as well as help articles and videos. And when you sign up for Faithlife Equip, you also get your own Customer Success Manager, so it’s our job to ensure that you have as much as you need, any way you need it.
Q: What should church staff do if something doesn’t import right?
Reach out to your Customer Success Manager or the amazing tech ninjas in our Church Support Center. Our Church Support Center is open 365 days a year from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (PST). We are here to help serve local churches like yours anytime you run into hurdles, like an import being wonky.
Q: What would you say to someone who’s worried about a big church tech transition?
It’s natural and normal to feel hesitant and some worry about a church tech transition. We know it’s a big decision! That’s why we have so many tools to set you up for success. We have weekly webinars, amazing help articles and videos, and groups on Faithlife so you can interact with other users, our developers, product managers, and even our CEO. Our Customer Success team and our Church Support Center are here to make the transition as easy and painless as possible.
