Church Reopening Plans Revealed in New Report (Now Available)

After months of social distancing, churches across the nation are planning for reopening their doors. Some churches opened weeks ago, some are planning to reopen over the next few months, and some never closed. But no matter which scenario best describes you, you likely have a lot of questions—questions other church leaders are also asking.

In a recent survey, 750 churches worldwide told us about their plans. To help you prepare for your own reopening, we compiled the results into a free church reopening report.

You’ll see stats like these about the top three things churches say they need to reopen well:

  • 96% say website, email, and social media are pivotal to communicating how their churches will reopen
  • 72% say they need paperless giving (online giving, text to give) to limit contact
  • 51% say they’re turning to digital bulletins to prevent the spread of germs

There’s much more inside the report, including churches’ biggest concerns and attendance expectations.

Walking through the doors after COVID-19 won’t mirror walking through the doors before COVID-19. Plan ahead!
