1. Do you support custom email domains?
While your domain through Faithlife does not include email hosting, we do support email addresses through other hosts. Currently, Google for Nonprofits provides the G Suite Basic for free to nonprofits with their own domain. In addition to email hosting, GSuite Basic also includes many collaborative enterprise features.
Once you secure an email host, just contact Faithlife Support at 888-634-2038 or firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll help you get your domain verified and add your MX (mail exchanger) record. Click here to learn more.
2. Can I import external calendars to our Faithlife calendar?
You sure can!
When you connect your Faithlife group’s calendar with an external calendar (like the Google calendar provided in G Suite Basic mentioned above), it saves you time and energy since you don’t have to manage both calendars at once.
As you update your external calendar, all future changes will populate to your Faithlife group. Any service that links in with your group calendar will always display your most up-to-date information.
From your group’s calendar, click the gear icon above the calendar, add the URL of your external calendar in ICS format, and click Import. It may take up to 24 hours for your calendar to sync.
