About a year ago, leaders from the Church of God came to us with a need: to increase unity across their movement.
We had just begun our early access program of Faithlife Equip, an integrated platform of all our ministry tools, and we were inviting churches to pilot it. Church of God Ministries contacted us, and we began dreaming together about how Faithlife Equip could serve their entire movement.
Now, a year later, we’re excited to announce we’re opening early access to Faithlife Equip to each church in the Church of God movement.
We made it official with a big announcement at the annual Church of God Convention in late June, where our team helped with the event technology, set up communication groups for their movement to use, provided presentation software, and more.
Check out the video announcement plus photos and testimonials from our Faithlife team. Learn more about Faithlife Equip.
Moments from the convention floor
Our team loved sharing Faithlife Equip with pastors at this year’s Church of God Convention. Here’s what many of them said about what they enjoyed most:
“One of the highlights was hearing from churches who have been piloting Faithlife Equip for the last couple months and how the program has already been benefiting their communities. Another highlight was seeing how a Church of God in Guam was able to connect with the conference through the platform.”
— Kristen Schafer, Faithlife employee
“My absolute favorite thing about our time at the Church of God Convention was seeing people who had previously no confidence in technology create their own websites and online communities. I had opportunities to set men and women up with demos and watch their excitement as their understanding of what Faithlife can offer unfolded. The relief some pastors felt knowing that there were these kinds of options and opportunities for them was inspiring to watch.”
— Amber Smith, Faithlife employee
“A highlight for me was seeing the overwhelming responses we received as people learned how Faithlife Equip is designed to both equip the Church for administrative functions as well as equip their congregation to go deeper in the Word of God.”
— Renn Salo, Faithlife employee
“My highlight from the Convention was meeting the pastors and CHoG leaders in person. Being able to hug and laugh with these teams in person made the experience and partnership stronger.”
— Anh Johnson, Faithlife employee
“It’s one thing to talk to someone over the phone (my role at Faithlife) or in a video conference, but when you are standing there with them and you see the wheels start turning as they realize what Equip means for their ministry, the emotion is palpable.”
— David Groh, Faithlife employee
