John Bunyan’s famous Christian allegory is coming to theaters Easter weekend as an animated feature film.
Watch the trailer:
Written by John Bunyan in 1678, The Pilgrim’s Progress is one of the most enduring pieces of religious literature ever written. It’s been cited as the first novel ever penned in English, has been translated into over 200 languages, and has never gone out of print. At one point, the only book more popular than The Pilgrim’s Progress was the Bible.
This new film does a fine job of capturing both the humor and drama of Bunyan’s work, making it suited for both children and adults. The movie’s characters are voiced by actor John Rhys-Davies and singer Kristyn Getty, among others.
Don’t miss The Pilgrim’s Progress—in theaters nationwide April 18 & 20 only.
