Sorry, Drew. The post went live a little early by mistake. You should be able to subscribe to the email list now using the entry form which has been added to the post.

Unique comments on the same video will count, but spammed links and duplicate comments will not be approved, and will not count towards the contest.

Yikes… I wish I had seen this comment before I started posting the same comments over and over again. I apologize for doing so, and will stop immediately.

This is so confusing… I would love to earn a Logos 6 Gold but I dont understand how to do it. To start I cant "Sign up to hear about Faithlife’s latest Bible study resources, deals, and more." There is no link so im not sure what you want. Second i shared the video on facebook but dont know what you mean by "What channel or channels did you share the video on?" Do you just mean facebook? I want to comment on your videos but im not sure it would do me any good because i cant "Sign up to hear about Faithlife’s latest Bible study resources, deals, and more" or
"Share the brand-new Psalms animation at the bottom of this post."

YouTube allows us to see which YouTube users are most active on our channel. We will contact the winner using YouTube, and at that time they can tell us what email they would like the resources to be unlocked for.

For what it is worth, I am extremely grateful for these contests. I won the last one and have been truly blessed by the Spurgeon Commentary series that I won. It is not often that one sees a company giving away a $1,500 grand prize in a contest that does not cost a single penny to participate in. In fact, it is rare to see a company give away anything period, unless it is in a contest that costs money to enter. The giveaways Faithlife has held recently are incredibly generous by my standard. You’re right, spending time on the computer participating isn’t for everyone. But I know I speak for many of us when I say that we are thankful for giveaways like this one!

What about those people who don’t spend their life on Facebook and YouTube? Like, share, click here, click there. What a waste of precious time.

    • Ryan Nelson says

Hi Dennis. We understand it’s not for everyone, but Logos 6 Gold is worth $1,540.55 if you don’t already own a base package, and The Treasury of David in Logos format is worth $59.95, so you will have to decide for yourself if it is worth it to pursue. Entering to win The Treasury of David doesn’t take that much effort, but yes, winning Logos 6 Gold will take some work.

Sorry for the delayed response, John. Everything you need to do to become eligible is within the entry form, embedded in the blog post above. Entering your name and email in the entry form is how you sign up for the email list. Each social site you used to share the video is a separate channel (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). I hope this helps, please let me know if you have further questions.

  7. Colby Bonham (Colb B) says

Ryan Nelson, hello, I am just wanting to verify that I haven’t been disqualified for posting duplicate comments on the same video early on in the contest. I have been spending many hours each day participating in the contest and do not want to waste my time doing so if I have already been disqualified. I share Logos/Faithlife videos quite often as it is, but I won’t continue to do it thousands of times a day unless there is a competition going on LOL! ;-) Thank you for your time!

I bought my original LOGOS software a LONG time ago and bragged on it then. Even bought one for a friend going into bible school. It has improved so much over the years it just makes doing bible study and research educational and fun now. I would love to have the Gold package but with an extreme stretch of my budget the best I could upgrade to is the starter package and basic crossgrade features plus my original package books from years ago. Still lovin it though! Wish more could afford it.

    • Colby Bonham (Colb B) says

Charles Thibodeaux, I agree with you, Logos certainly makes Bible study fun! I also understand the financial aspect, I too am on a tight budget, and never dreamed of even owning Logos at all. But when I checked the “Pay Monthly” options, I was pleasantly surprised. If you haven’t already, I totally recommend checking out the different payment plan options. If it weren’t for the pay monthly feature, I wouldn’t be able to own Logos 6. God bless!

  9. Albert says

Hi! I am presently working here Saudi Arabia and I owned Logos 5. Can I be eligible to join this contest? Just reverifying. Thanks!

  10. says

Good on you Bob Pritchett! Our money is good enough for them, but I guess they have a new Bible translation – the A.I.V. (American Imperialist Version) that amongst other statements says "We are all one in Christ as long as we American". It's so good to see the American arrogance and exclusivity that causes the good ol' U.S. of A. to be so near and dear to the hearts of people elsewhere. Good on you Bob Pritchett! you really know how to with the hearts and minds of the rest of the World – yes that's right. There is actually a world outside America and they are necessarily thrilled or delighted by what the allegedly exceptionally great America does. It's just as well I've cut back on buying Logos products and considering changing to Accordance. After all, with treatment like this and having to download the bulk of what you buy every time you need to reinstall it Logos has lost a lot of its shine in my eyes. Oh, and let's not forget the fact there's a good proportion of heresy amongst the wares for sale. Pfft! So much for loving the brethren! "If you're American you're cool and well bless you to the hilt. If not well, your money's good, but hey, you're not American so what else do you expect?".

  11. says

You're not American bro. Just like me. Our money is good. It makes the big boss richer, but we're not American. Maybe he hasn't read that we're all one in Christ, or what someone does to the least rated Christian they do to Jesus. Perhaps one day he will discover those truths one day. If you want to give him a piece of your mind contact Bob at bob@faithlife.com

  12. says

I complained to Bob, the big boss and he said he will look into this. He said it's the issue of legal restrictions that have deterred him, but I got the impression he will do what he can to open up competitions to folk like you and me.

  13. says

It's the issue of laws governing competitions, but Bob, the big boss replied to an email message I sent him and I understand him to mean he will have the marketing department look into this.

    • Colby Bonham (Colb B) says

I am glad you were able to get some answers as to why the restrictions are in place. You made some pretty insensitive comments prior to ever having this information. God bless you
