Dr. Bryan Chapell is one of the nation’s foremost teachers of homiletics. He’s the senior pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, Illinois and president emeritus at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, where he has served in leadership capacities for 30 years. Dr. Chapell is an internationally renowned preacher, teacher, and speaker. Chapell is the author of numerous books, including Each for the OtherHoliness by GracePraying BackwardsThe Hardest Sermons You’ll Ever Have to Preach, and Christ-Centered Preaching—a preaching textbook now in multiple editions and many languages. His newest book is Christ-Centered Worship.

    This is an excellent & short intro to what to consider when planning for worship. Resembles the ACTS prayer I teach our youth, but also provides clear focal points. Styles will even be addressed in this way of looking at worship as mission.
