Worth serious consideration despite the male-dominant language – I suggest using the word "people" as a substitute for the word "men".

Not only do I enjoy and appreciate the quotes from E. M. Bounds, but I thoroughly enjoy the total program of Logos Bible Soft Ware. I have not had as much of it as I have had in the past year, but in that time I have really been blessed by God's Word. He has been such a blessing to our 60 years of pastoral ministry, and especially in supposedly retirement! — PTL

Howard, this is a direct quote from E. M. Bounds, and I would submit that the reason for the great shallowness and lack of vitality in the Church today is notbecuse we don't have women of prayer but is that we don't have men of prayer. As always I am challenged in my walk with Christ by this great man of faith and his prayer life.
